The Carriage House
Inn, circa 1852, is a fine example of American located on the Mountain Waters
Scenic Byway, Route 39, in Huntersville, West Virginia. The five bedrooms
and attic suite have been thoughtfully restored to offer a unique blend of
country charm and comfort. All rooms and the suite have their own private
baths and are non-smoking.
 Chaise Room:
The attic suite accommodates four people with twin beds and a queen sized fold
out sofa.
Surrey Room:
Graciously appointed with a four post queen sized bed. Antiques include a
footed bathtub within the private bath.
Buggy Room: A
study in blue accented with an antique queen sized bed appointed by a
lovely quilt.
Buckboard Room:
Two twin beds with a tailored decor: dark green and deep red underlining its
wildlife theme.
Victoria Room:
A private room just off the upstairs porch and decorated with soft colors, a
double bed and floral walls.
Landau Room: A
study in comfort with queen sized iron bed and soft colors of Laura Ashley.
 The dining room,
warmed by a wood stove on cool mornings, is the perfect setting to enjoy the
good food and pleasant company. Fresh grown herbs from Jeannie's raised
bed garden become culinary additions to her creative breakfast dishes. The
living room is made for relaxation. Games, books and TV are available for
your pleasure.
