~Cuisine & Recipes~
A delicious full breakfast, sometimes categorized as gourmet, but the country breakfast is also present, is served in the Inn's quaint dining room. Breakfast is served from 7am - 9am all week long.
We tantalize the tastebuds first with a fruit dish of the Chef's choice. The main course will be ONE of many different recipes, whether it be a sweet dish(for example-caramelized french toast, drizzled with a fresh apple syrup), or a savory dish(an egg souffle with fresh herbs from the garden and several different cheeses). Soooooo many scrumptuious recipes, so little time!!!!
Which brings me to another "yummy" subject...."Do I share my recipes??" I certainly do!!!
This is the beginning of things to come...... Let me know your thoughts and your own additions or changes to the recipe.....chefs are a different breed ALWAYS searching and trying anything and everything to present the perfect meal to any who venture into the world of culinary creativity!!

~THE CARRIAGE HOUSE INN'S COLD CUCUMBER SOUP~
The summer is upon us and all the vegetables are starting to produce and there is nothing better than enjoying the fresh taste out of the garden. This months feature vegetable is my delightful and delicious cucumber, and let's face it nothing reminds you more of warm summer days, than not only the scent, but the refreshing taste of this crunchy and healthy vegetable. Cucumbers are great by themselves, but if you have an overload of them, which I did this year, I always try to find different ways to use them, so hence the cold cucumber soup recipe. Fresh dill and cucumber, a match made in heaven!! Think it will please your palatte, it sure does mine!!!
Enjoy!!!
